Abstract
Se provee un método para evaluar un parámetro geométrico de una primera fractura que emana de un primer pozo que penetra una formación subterránea. El método incluye los pasos de formar la primera fractura en comunicación fluida con el primer pozo; formar una segunda fractura en comunicación fluida con un segundo pozo, el segundo pozo; medir un primer cambio de presión en el segundo pozo en proximidad al primer pozo; y determinar el parámetro geométrico de la primera fractura empleando por lo menos el primer cambio medido de presión en un análisis el cual acopla una ecuación de la mecánica de los sólidos y una ecuación de la difusión de presión.
