Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Una molécula de ácido nucleico que comprende por lo menos un polinucleótido operativamente enlazado a un promotor heterólogo, en donde el polinucleótido es seleccionado entre el grupo formado por: SEC ID Nº 1; el complemento de SEC ID Nº 1; un fragmento de por lo menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de SEC ID Nº 1; el complemento de un fragmento de por lo menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de SEC ID Nº 1; una secuencia codificante nativa de un organismo de Diabrotica que comprende cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 3 - 5; el complemento de una secuencia codificante nativa de un organismo de Diabrotica que comprende cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 3 - 5; un fragmento de por lo menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de una secuencia codificante nativa de un organismo de Diabrotica que comprende cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 3 - 5; y el complemento de un fragmento de por lo menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de una secuencia codificante nativa de un organismo de Diabrotica que comprende cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 3 - 5. Reivindicación 5: Una molécula ácido ribonucleico (ARN) transcrita a partir de la molécula de ácido nucleico de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1. Reivindicación 15: La célula de la reivindicación 14, en donde la célula es una célula vegetal. Reivindicación 16: Una planta transformada con la molécula de ácido nucleico de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1. Reivindicación 25: Un método para el control de una población de la plaga de insectos coleópteros, en donde el método comprende proveer un agente que comprende una molécula ácido ribonucleico (ARN) que funciona con el contacto con la plaga de insectos para inhibir una función biológica dentro de la plaga, el ARN es de manera específica hibridizable con un polinucleótido seleccionado del grupo que consiste de cualquiera de las poliribonucleótido seleccionado entre el grupo formado por cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 71 - 74; el complemento de cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 81 - 84; un fragmento de por lo menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 81 - 84; el complemento de un fragmento de por menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 81 - 84; un transcripto de cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 1 y 3 - 5; el complemento de un transcripto de cualquiera entre SEC ID Nº 1 y 3 - 5; un fragmento de por lo menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de un transcripto de SEC ID Nº 1; y el complemento de un fragmento de por lo menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de un transcripto de SEC ID Nº 1. Reivindicación 38: Un método para producir una célula de planta transgénica, en donde el método comprende: transformar una célula de planta con un vector que comprende el ácido nucleico de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1; cultivar la célula de planta transformada bajo condiciones suficientes para permitir el desarrollo de un cultivo de células de planta que comprende una pluralidad de células de plantas transformadas; seleccionar las células de plantas transformadas que han integrado por lo menos un polinucleótido en sus genomas; identificar las células de plantas transformadas por su expresión de una molécula ácido ribonucleico (ARN) codificada mediante por lo menos un polinucleótido; y seleccionar una célula de planta que expresa el ARN.
