Abstract
Se describe un aparato Y método para procesar alimentaciones diferentes en una unidad de craqueo con catalizador líquido, que dan como resultado rendimientos mejorados de hidrocarburos C₃ y C₄ y del rango de la gasolina, en comparación con los sistemas convencionales. El procedimiento Comprende inyectar una alimentación principal de hidrocarburos dentro del reactor de conducto de subida que contiene catalizador, a través de una pluralidad de inyectores de alimentación principal, e inyectar una alimentación de hidrocarburo liviano dentro del reactor de conducto de subida, en un lugar corriente arriba desde dicho inyector de alimentación principal y corriente abajo desde una válvula de control, tal como una válvula de distribución de catalizador regenerado, donde la alimentación liviana es inyectada en una región que tiene una densidad elevada de partículas de catalizador. La alimentación liviana es inyectada en una forma dispersada, de modo que la cantidad de alimentación inyectada corresponde a la densidad de partículas de catalizador en este punto particular, con mayores cantidades de alimentación inyectadas en lugares que tienen una gran cantidad de partículas de catalizador. Asimismo, puede inyectarse una alimentación de hidrocarburo pesado o una corriente de reciclaje pesado, desde dicha unidad de FCC, a la misma elevación que los inyectores de alimentación principal, pero a través de inyectores separados.
