Abstract

Un apilamiento de celdas de combustible comprende una pluralidad de celdas de combustible en una pila, la pila define dos caras finales paralelas opuestas. Un montaje de placa final se proporciona en cada cara final opuesta de la pila. Los montajes de placa final se acoplan juntos para así mantener las celdas de combustible en la pila bajo compresión. Por lo menos uno de los montajes de placa final comprende: una placa maestra que define una cara de compresión maestra que tiene una primera porción y una segunda porción; una primera placa esclava que define una primera cara de compresión esclava; y una segunda placa esclava que define una segunda cara de compresión esclava. La primera cara de compresión esclava enfrenta la primera porción de la cara de compresión maestra y cuando se ensambla, está en relación de compresión con ella, y la segunda cara de compresión esclava enfrenta la segunda porción de la cara de compresión maestra y cuando se ensambla, también está en relación de compresión con ella.
