Abstract
Un dispositivo codificador de video que incluye: una primera sección codificadora de video 11 para codificar una imagen de entrada para generar primeros datos codificados; una memoria intermedia 12 para almacenar la imagen de entrada; una sección de transcodificación / fusión de datos codificados 13 para transcodificar y luego fusionar los primeros datos codificados generados por la primera sección codificadora de video 11, para generar segundos datos codificados; y una segunda sección codificadora de video 14 para estimar un valor de sintaxis para codificar la imagen de entrada almacenada en la memoria intermedia 12 sobre la base de los segundos datos codificados suministrados desde la sección de transcodificación / fusión de datos codificados 13, para generar un flujo de bits. La primera sección codificadora de video 11 tiene una función de manejo de un primer proceso de codificación incluido en un segundo proceso de codificación manejado por la segunda sección codificadora de video 14. La sección de transcodificación / fusión de datos codificados 13, en el caso donde se cumple una condición predeterminada, fusiona bloques de transformada en frecuencia/cuantificación en el segundo proceso de codificación.
