Abstract
Una microesfera polimérica como aditivo de pérdida de fluido en lodos de perforación que incluye un núcleo hidrofóbico de monómeros hidrofóbicos y una carcasa hidrofílica de monómeros hidrofílicos en donde la carcasa hidrofílica rodea al núcleo hidrofóbico. La microesfera polimérica puede formar micelas o microgeles en agua sin utilizar surfactantes y pueden ser copolímeros de bloque, injerto y al azar. La carcasa hidrofílica está física o químicamente unida al núcleo hidrofóbico. La microesfera polimérica además incluye reticulantes, preferentemente cuando los reticulantes son monómeros que contienen, por lo menos, dos grupos etilénicamente insaturados.
