Abstract
En la presente se proporcionan realizaciones de métodos y aparatos para el procesamiento de una materia prima renovable. En un ejemplo, un método comprende dividir una corriente de formación rica en H₂ en una primera porción rica en H₂ y una segunda porción rica en H₂. La segunda porción rica en H₂ tiene una tasa de flujo másico menor que la primera porción rica en H₂. Se desoxigena la materia prima renovable en la presencia de la primera porción rica en H₂ en condiciones de hidrotratamiento efectivas para formar un efluente de la zona de reacción de desoxigenación que contiene parafinas normales. Se isomeriza por lo :menos una porción del efluente de la zona de reacción de desoxigenación en la presencia de la segunda porción rica en H₂ en condiciones de isomerización efectivas para formar un efluente de la zona de reacción de isomerización que contiene parafina ramificada. Las condiciones de isomerización incluyen una primera presión parcial de hidrógeno de 4.140 kPa manométricos o menos.
