Abstract

Un sistema de conversión de energía mareomotriz (100) para capturar la energía mareomotriz en un cuerpo de agua (102) y convertir la energía capturada en un fluido presurizado, y también un método de despliegue de tal sistema de conversión de energía mareomotriz. El sistema de conversión de energía mareomotriz (100) comprende una unidad (110) que incluye una estructura flotante (124) que responde al movimiento de las olas, al menos una bomba (132) y al menos un cabo (134) adaptado para conectarse operativamente entre la bomba y una estructura (166) debajo de la unidad, por medio de lo cual el movimiento de la estructura flotante (124) con relación a la estructura (164) en respuesta al oleaje convierte la energía capturada en un fluido presurizado. La unidad (110) está adaptada para desplegarse acoplando el cabo (134) a la estructura (166) al accionarse la bomba (132) de modo que se acople el cabo a la estructura.
