Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Una fracción bioactiva derivada de fruta, caracterizada porque dicha fracción está sustancialmente libre de patulina y proteína. Reivindicación 5: Una composición que comprende la fracción bioactiva de la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque la composición es un producto que se deja puesto (leave on) seleccionado a partir del grupo que consiste en crema, apósito, gel, loción, pomada, líquido, un aplicador en espray, y combinaciones de los mismos, o un producto de limpieza seleccionado a partir del grupo que consiste en detergente para el lavado a mano de la vajilla, jabón líquido para manos, jabón en barra, gel de baño, shampoo, limpiador de uso general, y combinaciones de los mismos. Reivindicación 6: Un método para aislar una fracción bioactiva que procede de jugo de fruta de una Manzana (Pyrus malus), caracterizado porque dicho método comprende proporcionar fruta fresca de Manzana (Pyrus malus); procesar la fruta bajo condiciones eficaces para producir un jugo de fruta al menos sustancialmente libre de proteína y patulina, comprendiendo dicho procesamiento de la fruta fresca: (i) separar la fruta fresca en el jugo de fruta inicial y un precipitado enriquecido con fibra; y (ii) someter el jugo de fruta inicial a un ajuste del pH para producir un primer jugo de fruta sobrenadante y un primer precipitado; someter dicho primer jugo sobrenadante a un tratamiento con microondas para producir un segundo jugo de fruta sobrenadante y un segundo precipitado y someter dicho segundo jugo de fruta sobrenadante a los pasos de centrifugación y filtración para producir un tercer jugo de fruta sobrenadante y un tercer precipitado, en donde dicho tercer jugo de fruta sobrenadante esta sustancialmente libre de patulina y proteína. Reivindicación 8: Un método para aislar la fracción bioactiva de la reivindicación 1 a partir de fruta, caracterizado porque comprende procesar dicha fruta para obtener un jugo de fruta, y someter dicho jugo de fruta a los siguientes pasos del proceso: (1) someter dicho jugo de fruta a un paso de desestabilización de la fracción de la membrana produciendo un jugo de fruta desestabilizado; (2) someter dicho jugo de fruta desestabilizado a un paso de separación de fracción de membrana para producir una fracción de membrana y un jugo de fruta sobrenadante, y (3) someter dicho jugo de fruta sobrenadante al paso de estabilización para producir una fracción bioactiva estabilizada derivada de jugo de fruta. Reivindicación 9: El método de la reivindicación 8, caracterizado porque dicho paso de desestabilización de la fracción de la membrana comprende someter dicho jugo de fruta a ondas electromagnéticas de desde 2,45 GHz hasta aproximadamente 7,0 durante un tiempo eficaz para alcanzar la desestabilización de la fracción de la membrana.
