Abstract
Composiciones de fármacos que comprenden anfetamina para administración transdérmica, métodos para preparar composiciones de fármacos que comprenden anfetamina para administración transdérmica, y métodos terapéuticos para utilizarlos. En formas de realización específicas, las composiciones están libres de componentes con unidades que reaccionan con la anfetamina. En formas de realización no específicas, las composiciones se fabrican usando solventes libres de componentes con unidades que reaccionan con la anfetamina. También se describen métodos terapéuticos usando las composiciones. Reivindicación 1: Una composición para la administración transdérmica de anfetamina en la forma de un sistema finito flexible para aplicación tópica, que comprende una matriz de polímero que comprende anfetamina o una sal farmacéuticamente aceptable o una prodroga de la misma, donde la matriz de polímero comprende un polímero que está libre de unidades de acetato de vinilo. Reivindicación 2: La composición de la reivindicación 1, en donde el polímero se selecciona entre el grupo formado por los polímeros de acrílico que están libres de unidades de acetato de vinilo, polímeros a base de gomas, y mezclas de los mismos. Reivindicación 3: La composición de la reivindicación 2, en donde el polímero comprende un polímero de acrílico formado a partir de uno o más monómeros que se seleccionan entre el grupo que consiste en acrilato de butilo, acrilato de metilo, metacrilato de metilo, ácido acrílico, acrilato de etil hexilo, y acrilato de hidroxietilo. Reivindicación 9: La composición de la reivindicación 7, en donde el antioxidante se selecciona entre el grupo formado por hidroxitolueno butilado (BHT), hidroxianisol butilado (BHA), y mezclas de los mismos. Reivindicación 10: La composición de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 6, en donde la matriz de polímero comprende además un componente que se selecciona entre el grupo que consiste en dióxido de silicio, resinas de hidrocarburo hidrogenado, y copolímeros de bloques estireno-isobutileno-estireno.
