Abstract

Se describen sistemas flexibles finitos para la administración transdérmica de escopolamina que consiste de: (a) una matriz polimérica que contiene una mezcla de polímeros que contiene (i) un polímero no funcional a base de acrílico que constituye cuando menos aproximadamente 60% en peso del peso seco de la matriz polimérica, y (ii) un polímero de silicona protegido resistente a la amina que constituye no más de aproximadamente 30% en peso seco del peso seco de la matriz polimérica y (b) escopolamina solubilizada en la matriz polimérica en donde el sistema finito flexible está sustancialmente libre de acetato de vinilo y componentes molares. En algunas modalidades, la matriz polimérica también comprende un promotor no polar de la penetración. También se describen métodos para producir y usar esos sistemas finitos flexibles.
