Abstract
Un método para mejorar la separación de emulsiones micelares de petróleo-agua. tales como aquellas que se encuentren en los fluidos de producción. Específicamente, una realización de la presente consiste en separar fases de petróleo y de agua en fluido de producción recuperado, agregando una sal iónica, tal como cloruro de sodio, cloruro de calcio, carbonato de sodio, bicarbonato de sodio, y/o un alcohol con alto peso molecular, tal como 2-etil hexanol o decanol, al fluido de producción. El fluido de producción puede incluir fluidos producidos con un método de recuperación mejorada de petróleo.
