Abstract

Un método para recuperar petróleo de un reservorio subterráneo cargado de petróleo, en el que se utiliza un fluido de inyección que comprende un polímero para aumentar la viscosidad en agua de baja salinidad. El reservorio es penetrado por uno o más pozos de inyección y por uno o más pozos de producción. El método comprende inyectar el fluido de inyección en por lo menos uno de los pozos de inyección con un tamaño del pistón dentro del rango de entre 0,4 y 1,5 volúmenes de poro (PV).
