Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos para el control de las emisiones de NOX en la incineración del gas de descarga en donde el gas de descarga que comprende NOX, precursores de NOX, o ambos, se introduce en un incinerador, además se introduce un diluyente en el incinerador para controlar la temperatura del incinerador hasta una temperatura que va desde alrededor de 950ºC hasta alrededor de 1100ºC. Los métodos también proporcionan la reducción de las emisiones de NOX por el control de la relación de aire a combustible en un incinerador de gas de descarga a la vez que controla la temperatura de la llama del incinerador por medio de inyecciones de diluyente. También se proporciona una unidad de caldera que lleva a cabo estos métodos. Además se proporciona un sistema para la producción de negro de humo con el uso de la unidad de caldera.
