Abstract

Célula de levadura que comprende uno o más genes exógenos de una o más vías metabólicas de pentosas no nativas para la célula de levadura, en donde la célula de levadura tiene una interrupción de los genes nativos hxk1, hxk2 glk1 y gal1 en la célula de levadura. La solicitud se relaciona además con una célula de levadura fermentadora de pentosas y glucosa que tiene la capacidad de consumir simultáneamente pentosas y glucosa.Reivindicación 1: Una célula de levadura, caracterizada porque comprende uno o más genes exógenos de una o más vías metabólicas de pentosas no nativas para la célula de levadura, en donde la célula de levadura tiene una interrupción de los genes nativos hxk1, hxk2 gIk1 y gal1 en la célula de levadura.
