Abstract

El proceso es para pretratar un producto base de biomasa lignocelulósica y comprende lo siguiente: remojar un producto base de biomasa lignocelulósica, en el cual la biomasa remojada está presente como una mezcla con un líquido libre y en el cual el líquido libre comprende al menos un compuesto disuelto seleccionado del grupo que consiste en glucosa, xilosa y sus respectivos oligómeros; lavar la mezcla de la biomasa remojada y el líquido libre, en el cual al menos una porción del líquido libre que contiene al menos un compuesto disuelto seleccionado del grupo que consiste en glucosa, xilosa y sus respectivos oligómeros, se separa de la biomasa remojada para crear una biomasa remojada lavada y al menos una corriente de líquido libre; comprimir la biomasa remojada para crear un líquido liberado; separar el líquido liberado de la biomasa remojada y mantener al menos una porción del líquido liberado separado de cualquier líquido libre.
