Abstract

Un método pata incrementar la recuperacion de petroleo incluye el paso de proveer un yacimiento o reservorio subterráneo que contiene hidrocarburos. Se provee una perforacion de pozo en comunicacion fluida con el yacimiento subterráneo. Se forma una solucion de surfactante-polímero para ser inyectada dentro del yacimiento. La solucion de surfactante-polímero se forma mezclando una composicion con al menos un surfactante, al menos un polímero, y al menos un co-solvente o co-surfactante de manera que la solucion de surfactante-polímero sea transparente y estable en forma acuosa. La solucion d surfactante-polímero es inyectada a través de la perforacion dentro del yacimiento. Se forma una solucion de barrido (chaser solution) para ser inyectada dentro del yacimiento. La solucion de barrido tiene una cantidad adicional predeterminada del co-solvente o co-surfactante. La solucion de barrido es inyectada a través del pozo dentro del yacimiento para incrementar la produccion de hidrocarburos desde el yacimiento mientras se mantiene la transparencia y estabilidad acuosa de la solucion de surfactante-polímero.
