Abstract
Un par de células de combustible están configuradas como un monitor de la pureza de hidrógeno. Una primera célula, que actúa como célula de referencia, está configurada para generar corriente eléctrica a partir de la reacción electroquímica de hidrógeno y oxidante y tiene una primera entrada de combustible configurada para recibir hidrógeno desde una primera fuente de hidrógeno. El sistema de control tiene un comparador para comparar las salidas eléctricas de las células de combustible primera y segunda y una salida desde el monitor de la pureza configurada para dar una indicación de la pureza del hidrógeno sobre la base de una salida del comparador.
