Abstract

Una instalación para el tratamiento de chasis por inmersión que incluye al menos una cubeta (11) con líquido de proceso y una línea de transporte (12) para el llegada y la salida secuencial de skid (13) que soportan los chasis a tratar. Sobre la cubeta están ubicadas una primera y una segunda unidad con cilindros (20, 120), la primera en correspondencia de un extremo inicial de la cubeta y la segunda en correspondencia de un extremo final de la cubeta, para recibir o despachar un skid desde y hacia la línea de transporte (12). Los cilindros (38) de la primera y de la segunda unidad con cilindros se mueven entre una ubicación retirada no operativa y una ubicación operativa de desplazamiento y soporte de un skid sobre la cubeta (11). Dos equipo de inmersión y transporte (110a, 110b), cada uno de ellos cuentan con una plataforma móvil (22) de apoyo y enganche de un skid, están ubicados para el despacho de un skid desde la primera unidad con cilindros (20), su transporte en inmersión a lo largo de la cubeta (11) y su colocación sobre la segunda unidad con cilindros (120). La plataforma (22) está soportada con un eje transversal motorizado (23) para poder girar durante las operaciones de tratamiento del chasis. También se describe un método de movilización secuencial.
