Abstract

Se proporcionan métodos y fluidos para la ubicación de un polímero hinchable en agua dentro de una formación subterránea. Los métodos y fluidos incluyen un fluido de colocación que tiene una fase acuosa ácida. El polímero hinchable en agua no se hincha sustancialmente en la fase acuosa ácida. En una realización, se proporciona una emulsión externa de aceite que tiene una fase de agua ácida interna para la colocación de un polímero hinchable en agua dentro de una formación subterránea. Con preferencia, la emulsión externa de aceite está adaptada para romperse a medida que se permite o provoca que el ácido contenido en la fase de agua interna se utilice en el fondo del pozo.
