Abstract
Se divulgan composiciones cosméticas que comprenden creatina y pequenas cantidades de un tripéptido biotinilado, como así también métodos para utilizar dichas composiciones con el fin de mejorar la apariencia de las pestanas. Se cree que estas composiciones tienen actividades moduladoras sinérgicas en una cantidad de vías bioquímicas implicadas en la salud de las pestanas. Reivindicacion 2: El método de la reivindicacion 1, en donde dicho N-biotinyl-gly-his-lys está presente en una cantidad de menos de 4 x 10-4% en peso. Reivindicacion 4: El método de la reivindicacion 1 o 2, en donde dicha composicion comprende además una proteína de trigo. Reivindicacion 5: El método de la reivindicacion 4, en donde dicha composicion comprende además al menos uno de los siguientes: extracto de algas marinas, acetato de tocoferol, y al menos 0,01% en peso de ácido ximenínico. Reivindicacion 7: El método de la reivindicacion 1 o 2, en donde dicha mejora al menos una manifestacion seleccionada del grupo que consiste de: (a) mejora del espesor de la vaina radicular de la pestana; (b) mejora del anclaje de la pestana; (c) disminucion de la pérdida de las pestanas; (d) reduccion del quiebre de las pestanas; (e) aumento de la firmeza de las pestanas; (f) aumento de la velocidad de crecimiento de las pestanas; (g) mejora del brillo de la pestana; (h) mejora del numero de pestanas visibles; (i) mejora de la longitud de la pestana; y (j) mejora del volumen de la pestana. Reivindicacion 16: La composicion de la reivindicacion 15, que Comprende además al menos uno de los siguientes: extracto de algas marinas, acetato de tocoferol, y al menos 0,01% en peso de ácido ximenínico. Reivindicacion 17: 17. La composicion de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 12, 13, o 14, en donde dicha composicion no comprende apigenina.
