Abstract
Un diseno optico y mecánico de una lente no redonda cargada de fluido y hermética, con capacidad para otorgar una variacion de la potencia optica. La lente con fluido incluye por lo menos tres componentes opticos, por lo menos un disco optico mayormente rígido, por lo menos una membrana optica mayormente flexible y una capa de un fluido transparente que está en comunicacion, por medio de un canal de fluido, con un deposito de fluido excedente contenido en un deposito al que se puede acceder para aumentar el volumen de fluido dentro de la lente con fluido para cambiar la potencia de la lente con fluido. La lente con fluido tiene capacidad para otorgar correccion de errores esféricos y astigmáticos, y utiliza membranas contorneadas para minimizar las aberraciones de imagen.
