Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un dispositivo oftálmico para la administracion pericorneal de fármacos. El dispositivo incluye un nucleo de material de matriz y agente terapéutico y revestir el nucleo. Hay una o más aberturas que se proyectan a través del revestimiento para dar lugar a la liberacion del fármaco en el ojo. Más aun, el dispositivo está disenado para descansar sobre la superficie externa del ojo.
