Abstract

Reivindicacion 1: Un método para decolorar un tinte, que comprende poner en contacto el tinte con una composicion que comprende: una enzima perhidrolasa, un sustrato para la enzima perhidrolasa, y una fuente de peroxido de hidrogeno; donde un perácido se produce mediante la accion catalítica de la enzima perhidrolasa sobre el sustrato en la presencia de peroxido de hidrogeno; y donde el tinte se pone en contacto con la composicion durante el período de tiempo y en las condiciones adecuados para producir una cantidad de perácido que sea suficiente para decolorar al menos una parte del tinte.
