Abstract

Se revela un material biodegradable, biocompatible y no toxico, que puede se utilizado para aislar y/o proteger un producto del medio ambiente, donde dicho material comprende una matriz compuesta por almidon, glicerol y nanocristales de almidon dispersos en dicha matriz. El material puede ser utilizado en forma de películas, láminas, films, cubiertas, geles, etc, para aislar y/o proteger un producto del medio ambiente. El material puede ser utilizado para aislar y o proteger productos alimenticios, farmacéuticos, cosméticos y de limpieza.
