Abstract
Un proceso para preparar ácido cianhídrico, que comprende la deshidratacion catalítica de formamida gaseosa para obtener una mezcla de producto que comprende ácido cianhídrico, agua, formamida, amoníaco, CO y productos de alto punto de ebullicion, la separacion de la mezcla de producto mediante la condensacion de un condensado que comprende agua, formamida, productos de alto punto de ebullicion y posiblemente amoníaco y ácido cianhídrico de la mezcla de producto obtenida, y la recirculacion parcial o total del condensado en un intercambiador de calor ubicado corriente abajo del reactor.
