Abstract

Una centrífuga de rotor helicoidal de camisa imperforada con aberturas de drenaje para vaciamiento parcial y de residuos, del tipo que comprende un tambor (1) montado giratoriamente sobre un eje de rotacion preferentemente horizontal, dentro del cual está montado giratoriamente un rotor helicoidal (4), y una descarga continua de solidos (8) prevista en un extremo del tambor (1) y una descarga continua de líquidos en el extremo opuesto del tambor (1), y al menos una o varias otras aberturas de drenaje (10) de servicio discontinuo, provistas con un dispositivo de cierre, se caracteriza por el hecho que la al menos una o las varias otras aberturas de drenaje (10) están asociadas con un anillo (11), el cual gira conjuntamente con el tambor (1) durante el funcionamiento y está montado en forma axialmente desplazable relativamente con respecto al eje de tambor a manera de dispositivo de cierre, estando dicho anillo asociado con un dispositivo de accionamiento para desplazar al mismo hacia una posicion en la cual quedan descubiertas las aberturas de drenaje (10) y hacia una posicion en la cual dichas aberturas de drenaje quedan cerradas.
