Abstract

A fin de proveer una deteccion de fugas más precisa y/o rápida de un recipiente con un gas con un detector de fugas de gas se provee un detector de fugas de gas con un alojamiento 106 que se puede conectar al recipiente de gas 104 como para rodear una unidad de válvula del recipiente y posiblemente también una parte de la superficie del recipiente donde se provee la unidad de válvula, y con un medio 124 para proveer una conexion substancialmente hermética al gas entre el alojamiento 106 y la parte de la superficie y un espacio vacío substancialmente cerrado dentro del alojamiento cuando el alojamiento 106 se conecta a la parte de la superficie y donde del detector de fugas de gas 102 incluye además medios de deteccion 126, 128, 130, 132, 142, 148, 150, 154 para detectar la(s) fuga(s) y donde la deteccion se provee en el espacio vacío substancialmente cerrado en el alojamiento mientras cualquier fuga de gas permanece dentro del espacio vacío substancialmente cerrado.
