Abstract

Composiciones y métodos que confieren actividad plaguicida a bacterias, plantas, células vegetales, tejidos y semillas y composiciones que contienen una secuencia de nucleotidos sintética que codifica una proteína Cry1Ac. Las secuencias codificantes se pueden usar en construcciones de ADN o casetes de expresion para a transformacion y expresion en plantas y bacterias. Las composiciones también incluyen bacterias, plantas, células vegetales, tejidos y semillas transformados. En particular, se proveen moléculas aisladas de ácido nucleico con actividad plaguicida. Las secuencias de nucleotidos corresponden a las SEQ ID NO: 1, 2, 3, 4, o 5, sus variantes y fragmentos.
