Abstract

Un método para usar en una unidad inalámbrica de transmision/recepcion (WTRU), método que comprende: generar un activador de transferencia en una primera pila de comunicacion, la primera pila de comunicacion configurada para comunicarse con un primer tipo de red; comunicar el activador de transferencia desde la primera pila de comunicacion hacia un dispositivo de comunicacion entre redes; comunicar el activador de transferencia desde el dispositivo de comunicacion entre redes hacia una segunda pila de comunicacion, la segunda pila de comunicacion configurada para comunicarse con un segundo tipo de red que es una red inalámbrica que cumple con las normas IEEE 802.xx; y comunicar el activador de transferencia desde la segunda pila de comunicacion hacia una funcion de control de la segunda red.
