Abstract
Un método para establecer una comunicacion con un dispositivo que utiliza una estructura de Herramienta de Dispositivo de Campo (Field Device TooI - FDT), tal que el dispositivo opera en un entorno de control de procesos y está acoplado para establecer comunicacion a un vinculo de comunicaciones, incluye generar una instancia de un Administrador de tipo de dispositivo (Device Type Manager - DTM) con capacidad de rastreo para dispositivo de campo, que representa al dispositivo en la estructura de la FDT, conectando de manera comunicable la instancia del DTM con capacidad de rastreo con un canal de comunicaciones que corresponde al vinculo de comunicaciones, rastreando el vinculo de comunicaciones para descubrir al dispositivo utilizando la instancia del DTM con capacidad de rastreo, y obteniendo una direccion del dispositivo descubierto en el DTM con capacidad de rastreo.
