Abstract
Se describen un método y una arquitectura del control de enlace de radio (RLC) en modo de acuse de recibo (AM), en un acceso a paquetes de alta velocidad (HSPA). El RLC se configura para operar en AM y procesar unidades de datos del protocolo (las PDU) de tamano flexible. Específicamente, un método y una arquitectura de RLC con AM en los que las SDU del RLC se segmentan y/o concatenan unicamente en el momento de enviar las PDU hacia las capas inferiores o inmediatamente antes. Esto incluye una interface con las capas inferiores con el fin de promover tamanos de PDU flexibles para el RLC con AM.
