Abstract
La PDU de MAC-es mejorado se crean al concatenar las unidades de datos de servicio (SDU) de MAC-es mejorado sobre la base de las PDU de capa superior y segmentos de las mismas, en donde la informacion de la segmentacion se incluye en las cabeceras de MAC-es mejorado. Una cabecera de MAC-es mejorado se genera para cada una de las PDU de MAC-es mejorado para describir la informacion acerca de la PDU de MAC-es mejorado. Una PDU de MAC-e mejorado se crea al concatenar las PDU de MAC-es mejorado y las cabeceras de MAC-e mejorado. Una cabecera de MAC-es mejorado puede incluir un campo de Numero de Secuencia de Transmision (TSN) un campo dé Descripcion de Segmentacion (SD), los campos de longitud (L) para indicar la longitud de cada SDU de MAC-es mejorado y/o los campos indicadores de canal logico (LCH-ID). Una cabecera de MAC-e mejorado puede incluir uno o más campos indicadores de canal logico (LCH-ID) para las correspondientes PDU de MAC-es mejorado o las SDU de MAC-es mejorado y los campos de longitud (L). Se revelan varias técnicas para indicar el final de la cabecera de MAC-e mejorado. En otra configuracion, se proponen los métodos para la senalizacion sobre el protocolo de marco Iub con el fin de soportar la segmentacion de MAC y los tamanos flexibles de la PDU de RLC.
