Abstract

Se refiere en general al campo de la biología molecular y concierne un método para mejorar características de crecimiento en plantas con relacion a plantas de tipo silvestre. Mas específicamente, la presente se refiere a un método para aumentar elrendimiento en plantas que crecen en condiciones de disponibilidad reducida de nutrientes, con relacion a las correspondientes plantas de tipo silvestre, que comprende modular la expresion de una secuencia de ácidos nucleicos que codifican unpolipéptido hox5 de cierre del homeodominio de leucina (HDZip) clase 1 o su homologo en una planta.
