Abstract

Se divulgan un método y dispositivo para navegacion. En por lo menos una forma de realizacion, el método incluye conectar un dispositivo de navegacion, ubicado en un vehículo, a un servidor; transmitir informacion relacionada con cambios en la posicion y velocidad del vehículo al servidor; y recibir informacion, relacionada con demoras potenciales a lo largo de una ruta de viaje del vehículo, desde el servidor, determinándose la informacion recibida, por lo menos parcialmente, en base a la informacion relacionada con cambios en la posicion y la velocidad transmitidos desde dispositivos de navegacion de una pluralidad de vehículos. En por lo menos una forma de realizacion, el dispositivo de navegacion incluye un modem para conectar un dispositivo de navegacion, ubicado en un vehículo, a un servidor; un transmisor para transmitir informacion relacionada con cambios en la posicion y la velocidad del vehículo al servidor; y un receptor para recibir informacion, relacionada con demoras potenciales a lo largo de una ruta de viaje del vehículo, desde el servidor, determinándose la informacion recibida, por lo menos parcialmente, en base a la informacion relacionada con cambios en la posicion y la velocidad transmitidos desde dispositivos de navegacion de una pluralidad de vehículos.
