Abstract

Se divulgan un método y dispositivo para navegacion. En al menos una forma de realizacion, el método incluye conectar un dispositivo de navegacion a un servidor a través de una conexion de modem; recibir informacion desde el servidor; determinar si se cumplirán o no criterios para desconexion de la conexion de modem; y conectar el dispositivo de navegacion al servidor a través de una conexion alternativa al momento de determinar que se cumplirán los criterios para desconexion de modem. En al menos una forma de realizacion, el dispositivo de navegacion incluye un modem para conectar el dispositivo de navegacion a un servidor; un receptor para recibir informacion desde el servidor; un procesador para determinar si se cumplirán o no criterios para desconexion de la conexion a través del modem; y un dispositivo de conexion alternativa (como ser, por ejemplo, el dispositivo Bluetooth para una conexion de teléfono movil emparejado) para conectar el dispositivo de navegacion al servidor, dispositivo de conexion alternativa que se utiliza al momento en que el procesador determina que se cumplirán los criterios para desconexion de la conexion del modem.
