Abstract

Un método para sincronizar senales en una red inalámbrica utiliza un preámbulo de dos partes transmitido en el enlace de descarga entre una estacion de base y una estacion movil. El preámbulo incluye un piloto comun que es comun para una pluralidad de estaciones de base y un piloto dedicado exclusivo para la estacion de base transmisora. La estacion movil realiza la sincronizacion gruesa sobre la base del piloto comun y la sincronizacion fina sobre la base del piloto dedicado. La estacion movil también identifica una o más células cercanas sobre la base de tonos piloto exclusivos en el piloto dedicado transmitido por las células cercanas.
