Abstract
Un nodo de retransmisión (o estación de retransmisión) opera como una entidad intermediaria en una transmisión entre una estación base y una estación móvil con base en su posición en una célula y la posición de la estación móvil en la célula. Debido a que la célula se divide en múltiples regiones y se utilizan diferentes recursos inalámbricos en las múltiples regiones, el nodo de retransmisión emplea los recursos inalámbricos pertinentes a ser utilizados en las comunicaciones con base en las posiciones del nodo de retransmisión y la estación móvil. Cuando la estación de retransmisión y la estación móvil ambas están en la región límite, es posible evitar la interferencia en la estación de retransmisión adaptando un modo de retransmisión que utiliza una frecuencia límite que evita la interferencia con las células adyacentes tanto para un enlace ascendente como para un enlace descendente y desmultiplexa un enlace de retransmisión y un enlace de acceso en una dirección de tiempo para cada uno del enlace ascendente y el enlace descendente. Se hacen adaptaciones similares cuando la estación móvil y la estación de retransmisión están en varias posiciones dentro de una región de célula central y región de célula límite.
