Abstract

Una formula para infantes que comprende una fuente de la proteína en una cantidad de no más de 2,0 g/100 kcal, una fuente de lípidos, una fuente de carbohidratos y un probiotico en donde el probiotico está presente en una cantidad equivalente entre 102 a 105 cfu/g de la formula seca. Uso de una formula para tales infantes, para modular el sistema inmune de un infante neonato, para promover el desarrollo en las primeras semanas de vida del infante de una microbiota intestinal beneficiosa comparable con la encontrada en bebés criados por pecho así como para promover la maduracion del sistema inmune de un infante neonato en las primeras semanas de la vida.
