Abstract

Método para producir una célula vegetal gramínea transgénica, donde de dicho método se caracteriza por poner células embrionarias de una semilla gramínea madura en contacto con una bacteria que comprende un ácido nucleico de transferencia que será introducido en las células embrionarias por un tiempo y bajo condiciones suficientes para que dicha bacteria pueda introducir dicho ácido nucleico de transferencia dentro de una o más células de una planta gramínea. La presente también provee un proceso para producir una planta o plántula o parte de planta transgénica, donde dicho método comprende aplicar el método para producir una célula vegetal gramínea transgénica y regenerar la célula transformada en una planta o plántula o parte de planta transgénica. La presente también provee una célula gramínea transgénica producida con el método para producir una célula vegetal gramínea transgénica y una planta o plántula o parte de planta gramínea transgénica producida mediante el proceso para producir una planta o plántula o parte de planta transgénica. El método y el proceso de la presente también se utilizan para expresar un ácido nucleico en una célula o planta gramínea y para modular la expresion de un ácido nucleico en una célula o planta gramínea.
