Abstract

Un método para mejorar diversas características de crecimiento en plantas al modular la expresion en una planta de un ácido nucleico que codifica una GPR (proteína relacionada con el crecimiento). También plantas con expresion modulada e un ácido nucleico que codifica una GRP, cuyas plantas tienen características de crecimiento mejoradas en relacion a las plantas de tipo silvestre correspondiente u otras plantas de control. Se proveen constructos utiles en dichos métodos. La GRP puede ser uno de los siguientes: regulador del rendimiento de semillas (SYR), FG-GAP, CYP90B, CDC27, factor de transcripcion del gancho AT, factor de transcripcion de DOF e inhibidores de la quinasa dependiente de ciclina (CKls).
