Abstract
Un método para programar en el tiempo las transmisiones asincrónicas de múltiples unidades de abonados. El método incluye recibir la información asociada con múltiples unidades de abonados que tienen datos de enlace ascendente a transmitir. La información incluye datos sobre desplazamiento de temporización de enlace ascendente asociados con cada una de las unidades de abonados. Se selecciona dos o más unidades de abonados de un conjunto de unidades de abonados que tienen un diferencial de desplazamiento de temporización que está por debajo del umbral predeterminado, donde el diferencial de desplazamiento de temporización es la diferencia entre el desplazamiento de temporización de una primera unidad de abonado y el desplazamiento de temporización de una segunda unidad de abonado desplazada selectivamente más en un múltiplo del tamano del segmento de transmisión que minimiza la diferencia. Los segmentos de transmisión que están disponibles para el enlace ascendente de los datos se asignan después entre las una o más unidades de abonados seleccionados, lo cual limita la cantidad de segmentos de transmisión que tienen por lo menos una superposición o una separación, y la magnitud de las superposiciones o separaciones, a fin de minimizar la pérdida de oportunidades de programación.
