Abstract

Se presentan métodos de cementación en formaciones subterráneas, composiciones de cemento y métodos para preparar las composiciones. Se hace pasar una mezcla de cemento al interior de una formación subterránea y se hace pasar un agente de hinchamiento al interior de la formación subterránea a fin de reducir la cantidad de agua que fluye hacia la mezcla de cemento. Se puede combinar el agente de hinchamiento con un fluido portador antes de su desplazamiento al interior de la formación subterránea. Por otro lado, se puede mezclar previamente el agente de hinchamiento con la mezcla de cemento para formar una nueva composición de cemento, para luego desplazar la composición de cemento al interior de la formación subterránea. El agente de hinchamiento ha de estar presenta en una cantidad efectiva para bloquear sustancialmente, después de la absorción de agua y expansión para formar una masa gelatinosa, el flujo de agua hacia la composición de cemento o reducir las pérdidas causadas por intervalos de baja presión de poro, evitando así que la integridad de la composición de cemento se vea comprometida o perdida a causa de vacíos, fracturas, fisuras, etc.
