Abstract
La presente integra distribución de recursos entre dúplex por división de tiempo (TDD) y dúplex por división de frecuencia (FDD) en sistema de comunicación inalámbrica. Un controlador de red de radio (RNC) recibe un pedido de portador de acceso de radio (RAB) de una red central o de una unidad inalámbrica de transmisión/recepción. El RNC utiliza un selector de TDD-FDD para asignar recursos de radio en respuesta al pedido. El selector de TDD-FDD evalúa varios parámetros referidos al pedido de RAB recibido y determina si es preferible asignar recursos TDD o recursos FDD y si dichos recursos están disponibles en ese momento. Una vez asignados los recursos, se evalúan las condiciones de sistema para determinar si pueden hacerse optimizaciones a una distribución de recursos actual.
