Abstract
La presente invencion integra distribucion de recursos entre duplex por division de tiempo (TDD) y duplex por division de frecuencia (FDD) en sistemas de comunicacion analambrica. Un controlador de red de radio (RNC)204, 208 recibe una solicitud de portador de acceso de radio (RAB) de una red de nucleo o de una unidad inalambrica de transmision/recepcion. El RNC utiliza un selector TDD-FDD 206, 210 para asignar recursos de radio en respuesta a la solicitud. El selector TDD-FDD evalua varios parametros referidos a la solicitud de RAB recibido y determina si es preferible asignar recursos TDD o recursos FDD y si tales recursos estan disponibles en ese momento. Una vez asignados los recursos, se evaluan las condiciones de sistema para determinar si pueden hacerse optimizaciones a una distribucion de recursos actual.
