Abstract

Una composición de combustible que comprende una cantidad mayor de gasolina que tiene un contenido máximo de sulfuro de 150 ppm en peso y un contenido menor de al menos un aditivo de gasolina que tienen acción detergente o tiene acción de desinhibición de desgaste del asiento de válvula, en la que dicho aditivo de gasolina tiene al menos un radical de hidrocarburo hidrofóbico con un peso molecular promedio en número (MN) de 85 a 20000 y al menos una porción polar, y en donde dicha composición de combustible tiene además un contenido de al menos un alcanol inferior de aproximadamente 5 a 75 % en volumen. Uso de un alcanol inferior en gasolina de bajo sulfuro para mejorar la acción de un aditivo que tiene acción detergente o tiene acción de inhibición del desgaste del asiento del válvula y proceso que mejora la acción aditiva de un aditivo que tiene acción detergente o tiene acción de inhibición del desgaste del asiento de válvula. Uso de una combinación de alcohol inferior y al menos un aditivo que tiene acción detergente o tiene acción de inhibición del desgaste del asiento de válvula que reduce los depósitos de la cámara de combustión y/o reduce los depósitos en el sistema de admisión de un motor a gasolina.
