Abstract
Un sistema y método que reducen la cantidad de datos que están detenidos en un Nodo B fuente después de un cambio de célula de HS-DSCH en servicio en un sistema de comunicación que incluye un RNC en servicio y al menos un Nodo B. En una primera forma de realización, el RNC suspende temporalmente las transmisiones de datos del RNC al Nodo B. En una segunda forma de realización, se utiliza el tiempo de activación en la programación de datos. En una tercera forma de realización, se selecciona un nivel MCS más robusto. En una cuarta forma de realización , se emplea control de flujo para los datos transmitidos entre el RNC y el Nodo B.
