Abstract

Un método y aparato para prensar masa para tortilla y producir una tortilla en una operación de elaboración continua, que incluye: una extrusora para comprimir la masa de tortilla a través de una boquilla; una cuchilla para rebanar la masa extrudada en una serie de bollos de masa; un conjunto de prensa para cinta transportadora que presiona los bollos por ambos lados con un par de placas para prensar las tortillas hasta su forma final de tortilla; y un horno continuo que presiona la tortilla entre un par de cintas transportadoras que conducen a la tortilla entre pares de placas calientes para cocinar la tortilla.
