Abstract
Se refiere a un nuevo proceso para preparar 2-(fenilo sustituido)-2-hidroxi-etil carbamatos y a intermediarios novedosos utilizados en este proceso. Asimismo se refiere a formas polimórficas de dichos carbamatos y a procesos para preparar dichas formas polimórficas. Reivindicación 1 . Un proceso para preparar un compuesto de fórmula (1) en el cual: R es halógeno, R1 y R2 son en forma independiente halógeno o C1-4 alquilo, sustituido en forma opcional con fenilo o fenilo sustituido, en donde el fenilo sustituido posee sustituyentes seleccionados entre halógeno, C1-4 alquilo, C1-4 alquiloxi, amino, nitro y ciano; caracterizados por a) reducción de un éster de la fórmula (2) en el cual P es un grupo protector de alcoholes apropiado; R3 es C1-4 alquilo; con un agente reductor de éster a alcohol apropiado, obteniéndose así un alcohol de fórmula (3), b) hacer reaccionar el alcohol de fórmula (3) con un compuesto carbonílico de fórmula (4) en el cual X e Y son grupos salientes adecuados; y posteriormente con una amina de fórmula (5) obteniéndose así un compuesto de fórmula(6) C9 eliminación del grupo protector P, obteniéndose así un compuesto de fórmula (1). v
