Abstract

Un sistema de teléfono inalámbrico de uno a muchos, incluye un teléfono transmisor que transmite paquetes de voz, en por ejemplo, Acceso Múltiple por División de Código (CDMA), hacia una estación base en una infraestructura basada en el Protocolo de Internet. La estación base convierte los paquetes de Acceso Múltiple por División de Código para el Protocolo de Internet y envía los mismos a través de la infraestructura hacia un administrador de comunicaciones, el cual copia los paquetes tantas veces como sea necesario, para los teléfonos receptores en el grupo y envía los paquetes de Protocolo de Internet de regreso a través de la infraestructura por medio del uso de las direcciones del receptor. La estación base que recibe los paquetes de Protocolo de Internet transforma los mismos paquetes de voz y transmite los paquetes de voz hacia los teléfonos receptores con lo cual libera los teléfonos de tener que sostener el Protocolo de Internet.
